Dublin International Hostel is open all year with free breakfast in the Church Restaurant, free wifi and 24 hour reception. Free secure parking is available; the hostel is well located and is only a short walk to the famous O,Connell Street.
Dublin International Hostel is the only youth hostel in the city. It is part of the Irish Youth Hostel Association which emphasises safety and security in budget accommodation for youth travellers and groups.
Dublin International Youth Hostel was originally a school and has its own church with stained glass windows and a confession box. The Church is now used as the location for continental breakfast 365 days a year. The 24 hour hostel is situated ten minute walk from O’ Connell St and is an ideal base for visiting Guinness Storehouse, Croke Park and Glasnevin Museum.
Dublin International hostel has 300 beds in a variety of room types ranging from six to ten bed dormitories, ensuite family rooms and private rooms. Rates include continental breakfast, WiFi, weekly events, city maps, TV Room, pool table, self catering kitchen, luggage rooms, laundry facilities, conference facilities, charge points for electric cars, linen, outdoor garden and complimentary car and coach parking.
The Dublin International Youth Hostel is well suited for groups and has a chef who can also prepare packed lunches and dinners booked in advance. All guests are given a warm welcome by staff and they can help with directions and suggestions for attractions and discounted tours in Dublin in most languages.
The hostel is also the recipient of the HI-Quality Award, given out to hostels completing the long term HI Quality Management System. It also has an Eco Flower award which was won by the An Óige sustainable committee who are committed to having environmentally friendly hostels in the network.
