The River Shournagh joins the Lee at Leemount Bridge in Carrigrohane, County Cork. It holds a good stock of brown trout up to 9 inches. Much of the river is overgrown but there are clear areas where fly fishing can take place.
Brown trout of up to nine inches can be found in the River Shournagh. It joins the River Lee in the small village of Carrigrohane, County Cork. Although most of the river is overgrown, there are still some good clear areas where fishing can be done.
The best fishing months are said to be April, May and June.
