Rathmullan House is a stunning, four-star hotel found on the coast in County Donegal. The historic property was built in 1820 as a summerhouse for the family of Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Knox. In the 1960s, it became a family run hotel, and today it continues to offer travellers a lovely place where they can slow down and relax.

Rathmullan House has 32 ensuite bedrooms, all of which feature individual décor, carefully sourced antiques and comfortable beds. Guests can choose from superior, standard, single and family rooms. There is even pet-friendly accommodation for visitors bringing along their four-legged friends. Rooms include toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, iron, ironing board, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Residents can make use of complimentary WiFi access in public areas and bedrooms.
The gorgeous estate features cosy lounges, beautiful gardens, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a kid’s room. The beach makes it the perfect location for a leisurely stroll, horse riding, swimming and relaxing.
After a day of activities, guests can treat themselves to dinner at the Weeping Elm Restaurant, which serves award-winning locally sourced food as well as wholesome options for children. The all new ala-carte menu gives guests the option of having their optimum amount of food. The restaurant is also open daily for breakfast. Delicious snack food is available in the seasonal Cellar Bar as well beer from the local Kinnegar Brewery.
