The fjord is the only Irish entry in Steve Davy's 'Unforgettable Places to see before you Die'. Portfinn's guesthouse accommodation in the picturesque village of boasts 11 ensuite rooms with spectacular views of either Killary Harbour or the Maumturk mountains. All rooms have complimentary WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and an ironing board is available on request. The Fjord Restaurant with it's well deserved reputation for quality food and service, specialises in locally sourced fish, lobster, lamb, beef and mussels. The restaurant is situated on the N59, which has been rated as one of the top ten drives in the world by AA International. It is able to facilitate private parties or host business events and other special ocasions such as weddings, confirmations, christenings and birthdays.
