Newgrange Lodge is a family operated venue located within the famous UNESCO parkland of Newgrange and Knowth in the beautiful Boyne Valley in Ireland's Ancient East. Only a 25 minute drive from Dublin airport the Lodge offers a warm welcome to all.

Uniquely sited, Newgrange Lodge is a one-minute walk from the visitor centre of Newgrange, a world-famous passage tomb that predates the Pyramids of Eygpt.

The Lodge, which was formerly an old farmhouse, was lovingly restored in 2006. It retains the original stone walls in an accommodation venue catering for both the independent traveller, families, and groups alike. The 22 twin, double, triple and family style rooms enjoy en-suite facilities with power showers, underfloor heating and multi channel TV. The Lodge also cater for groups in a mix of 6, 8, and 10 bed ensuite dormitory rooms.

Currently family-owned and operated, the Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Boyne Valley and the many attractions within Ireland's Ancient East. The Lodge is within 30 minutes drive to many attractions, such as the Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, Monasterboice, the site of the Battle of the Boyne, and the Hill of Slane. The Lodge is conveniently situated for families wishing to visit the nearby theme park attractions including Newgrange Farm, Funtasia Waterpark, and Tayto Park. The Lodge provides Kayaking sessions on the Boyne River and activity packages on-site at the Lodge.

Facilities at the Lodge include excellent self-catering kitchens, however group meals are provided on request. There are lovely recreation rooms to lounge in, including a large TV/reading room, a sunroom overlooking an enclosed court yard, and the downstairs lounge room with fireplace. The Lodge also offers BBQ facilities for guest use and plenty of outdoor picnic areas with excellent views of the valley and of Dowth and Newgrange. The Lodge is conveniently located for day trips to both Dublin and Belfast, and lies a 10 minute drive to Drogheda Bus Station and Train Station.

Complimentary tea/coffee is served throughout your stay and there is free WiFi access.

Guests may enjoy a sense of irish hospitality and a homely environment in this family-operated Lodge.
