Located in Kinsealy, 20 minutes from Dublin City Centre, St Doulagh’s Church occupies the site of a 7th century monastic settlement established by its namesake. The present structure dates from 1864, though it contains part of a medieval church.

St Doulagh’s Church is located in Kinsealy, Dublin, and was previously home to a medieval monastic settlement. St Doulagh, who was a hermit, founded the religious centre in the 7th century.

The present structure was built in 1864 and includes part of a church thought to be from the 12th century.

Outside, visitors can see St Doulagh’s well, a detached baptistery, and St Catherine’s Pond, an open-air pool.

Tours are available from May to September on Sundays from 14:30 - 17:30. Tours can be arranged at other times for school, families, historical societies and heritage groups.
