Ardtarmon House is set in quiet grounds with many walks and close to beaches. A family home with spacious rooms. Breakfast is served using homemade and home produced ingredients. There are many viewing points of surrounding sea and mountain.

A family home since 1852, with four spacious and elegant rooms and a nineteenth-century period ambience. The charm and character of a bygone age is experienced along with modern comforts. There is an extensive range of books of interest available to guests. Breakfast is served using many home-made and home-produced ingredients, with an emphasis on traditional cooking.

Ardtarmon House is set in secluded and quiet grounds of many wooded hectares with ample walks, and private access to many miles of beach. There are spectacular viewing points of Sligo Bay and the surrounding mountains, with distant views of the counties of Leitrim, Mayo, and Donegal.

There is an extensive fruit orchard and short-rotation coppice willow is grown to supply the wood-chip boiler central heating system. The farm includes cattle and sheep, and potatoes, grain and vegetables are grown.

Lissadell House and Gardens are located close by, as well as Raghly Harbour, and there are many scenic rural and coastal walking and cycling routes within 5km. The area is renowned for bird-watching and surfing. There are many mountains, lakes, and seaside resorts within 20km, including Drumcliff (the final resting place of the poet W. B. Yeats), and the regional capital, Sligo town.

German is spoken in Ardtarmon House, along with some Italian and French.
Five unique and charming cottages are also available for rent.
