Skellig Pottery is a small studio and gallery situated 1 kilometre off the Wild Atlantic Way and Skellig Ring. Visitors can watch pieces being made, purchase handmade gifts to suit all budgets or participate in one of Julia’s classes.

With views over Ballinskelligs Bay, Julia’s workshop is bright and spacious.

Classes are available covering all aspects of ceramics and are suitable for children over five years, adults and groups of all abilities and experience. Classes are kept small to ensure all students receive attention where needed.

Skellig Pottery is a working studio and visitors are welcome to visit to watch individual pieces being made. Julia’s work is available to buy directly from the studio or from local craft shops.

The work is inspired by the surrounding Kerry landscapes and seascapes, and the glazes reflect the palette of the natural countryside and changing textures and patterns.

A list of classes can be found on the website or by calling the store directly.
