Let me take you on a wee dander (as we say around here) through the city I grew up in, and as we go on a voyage of discovery, let me paint a picture of its past, present and future.

Noted for its marvelous architecture, renowned for its shipbuilding, and praised for its attempts to bring peace to its people.

And now that the dust has finally settled, why not take a look at its rich heritage through the eyes of a local gardener, or take one of our half day trips by local bus to a seal colony and castle. No more than an hour away form the city cent.

Belfast tours are every 2 hours from 8am to 8pm, departing from City Hall gates. Please phone to check availability, as sometimes I'm out of town myself on a wee Dander, or if my customer wants to spend more time with me, as I'm a TEFL teacher and can teach while we walk.

Meeting at 9.15 and leaving Belfast early on a Sunday morning for a small coastal village in County Down. We’ll have time for a wee yarn about the part of the city we are leaving, and the small towns we pass by.
On arrival we’ll go for a dander to a ‘boot sale’ and on through the village to a wildlife and nature reserve, reaching a long sandy beach with views of the local Mountains about 45 minutes from the Village. And will take in our first views of the Norman Castle we will reach on return to the village.
While we are in the nature reserve, we'll catch a glimpse of some of its rare birds and hopefully the seals aren’t out fishing when we reach their resting place. While we are there we can have a bit of a picnic, as we take in the magnificent views along the sandy beach of the local Mountains in an area noted for its Outstanding Natural Beauty.
