Greenan Farm Museum and Maze situated at Greenan in the midst of the Wicklow Mountains only an hour and half from Dublin. There are numerous attractions to explore at this family farm: mazes, museum exhibits, farm animals, tea rooms and craft shops.
Greenan Farm Museum and Maze, in the midst of the Wicklow Mountains, is a great family escape from Dublin. The large 1/2 acre hedge maze is two meters tall and is a tricky puzzle to solve, the kids love it, while the solstice maze is a more gentle contemplative experience.
Three traditional farming museums present exhibits which will awaken your imagination to a time of hand-made crafts and horse-drawn farm machinery. The many farm animals prove a great attraction for the all kids as well as the adults. The beautiful wild nature walk leads down by a stream to the dragon-fly ponds where an abundance of wildlife can be enjoyed on a relaxed stroll.
Then relax and enjoy some home baking in the Traditional Irish cottage tea rooms or browse through the local arts and crafts in the craft shop.
