Our round up of January hotel breaks in Ireland

You might be feeling the pinch in your pocket this January, but we all need a little pick me up at the start of the year, and January is the time when most hotels offer great deals to entice guests. From free nights to spa deals, many 3,4 and 5 star hotels are trying to fill their beds, so there’s actually no better time to take a break in Ireland. We've done some sleuthing and come up with quite a lot. So here are some of the best January hotel deals in Ireland we could find.

The Strand Hotel, Limerick

The Limerick hotel, proudly overlooking the River Shannon, is offering rooms for only €75 per room for the month of January, along with a complimentary upgrade to an executive bedroom. The offer is based on two people sharing, (room only). This would also be great for those venturing down for a rugby game, as The Strand is very near Thomond Park. The Strand is also offering one month free on a twelve month membership to their Energize Health Club to kickstart the year.

Clarion Hotel, Limerick

Ireland’s tallest hotel, the Clarion Limerick plays host to the fabulous Kudos restaurant, and is right in the middle of the Treaty City. For January, they are offering an overnight stay and a four course meal for two, all for only €99 per room, per night.

The Gibson Hotel, Dublin 1

If you’re heading to Snow Patrol or One Direction in the 02 this January, or simply want to spend a night or two in the city, The Gibson Hotel are offering a Facebook only offer of one night B&B for two people from €99. See the Special Offers tab on their Facebook page for more info. On their site, you can also get a double or twin room, plus breakfast and dinner, for an amazing €69 per person per night.

Brooks Hotel, Dublin 2

If you plan on hitting Grafton Street for the January sales then look no further than Brooks Hotel, where you can avail of a special “shop ‘til you drop” rate of €80 per person per night, or you could try their novel “bag drop” offer, which includes lunch and a light dinner for €25.

Camden Court Hotel, Dublin 2

Another coup for shopping enthusiasts is Camden Court’s Dundrum deal. Valid until 31 January, the package costs €145.00 per person sharing for two nights, with evening meal, breakfast and use of all leisure facilities thrown in. Each room will also get a €50 gift card for the centre, so you’ll be making money! The hotel is, of course, two minutes from the Luas Green Line which will practically take you to Dundrum Shopping Centre’s door.

Bewleys Hotel, Ballsbridge

The landmark Dublin 4 hotel is convenient for the Aviva stadium, city centre and O2, and their January room sale has nights for only €60 per room! See here for more information.

The G Hotel, Galway

The G Hotel in Galway’s Eyre Square is celebrating it's 6th birthday this January, and offering a package for €60 per person per night, when you book for two nights or more. A splendid hotel in a warm, welcoming city, you’ll also get a free pass to ESPA at the glorious thermal spa, and the onsite restaurant is renowned as one of the best dining experiences in the west of Ireland.

The Twelve Hotel, Galway

One of Ireland’s best boutique hotels, the award winning Twelve Hotel in Galway is offering their 3X2 offer this Jan, two delicious gourmet dinners and three nights stay for €225 pps. You get to dine from the full a la carte menu in either of the two onsite restaurants, and we’re sure that you'll enjoy 3 great courses whichever you go for.

Clarion Hotel, Cork

Cork’s Clarion on Lapps Quay has one of the best offers of the lot. Here you can get dinner one night and B&B for only €59 per person sharing. This includes dinner in Kudos Bar and complimentary access to the health & fitness area. You’d be mad not to visit the rebel city this January!
