The Causeway Coast Amateur Golf Tournament. Held annually in June on Ireland's North Coast.

Experience golf on the North Coast like you have never experienced it before with The Causeway Coast Amateur Golf Tournament. Running successfully from the 1960’s it attracts up to 600 golfers annually from all over the world.

Taking place from 3 to 7 June 2019 the golfer will take on four links classics in Ballycastle, Ballyliffin. Castlerock and North West Golf Clubs.

Castlerock Golf Club is set among rolling sand dunes, where its scenic qualities embrace the River Bann flowing out to the Atlantic. A top-class links that has been played by the best.

The Warren Links at Ballycastle is a Course which mixes flat, low-lying holes with seaside classics. It is set on a spectacular stretch of coastline, with panoramic views of the Mull of Kintyre, Rathlin Island and Ballycastle Bay.

The Old Course at Ballyliffin has had the input of one of golf’s greatest champions, Nick Faldo. The Old Links undulates in the glory of its natural terrain, presenting a golf course that is considered among the top 20 best courses in Ireland.

In 2019 North West Golf Club comes onto the course rota for the first time. A Club steeped in history and like Ballycastle one of the founding members of The Golfing Union of Ireland. Set beside the shores of Lough Swilly the course prides itself on being a true links with smooth true greens and fast running fairways.

While visiting the area golfers and their families may take the opportunity to visit the Causeway Coastal Route. Here you can see the mythical, medieval ruins of Dunluce Castle, then only a short drive away is Bushmills, home to the famous Distillery, the oldest in Ireland, which produces the smooth-tasting whiskey known all over the world and of course no trip to the area would be complete without a visit to the Giant's Causeway.

It is no coincidence that many of the golfers are repeat business, they come back every year to play these great courses and reminisce with friends in this picturesque part of the island. There are many fantastic bars and restaurant where competitors meet on an annual basis.

More than anything, you will discover the friendliness and camaraderie that comes with playing in the tournament.
