See chart-topping American rockers The National when they come back to Dublin for a two-night run at Donnybrook Stadium.
2017 marks the year The National finally topped the Irish album charts with their latest album, Sleep Well Beast. A favourite band to watch live for years now, they've enjoyed a steady climb to No 1, beginning in 2010 when the album High Violet went to No 3, followed by a No 2 spot with the 2013 release Trouble Will Find Me.
The Cincinnati, Ohio band, who formed in 1999, blasted to international prominence with the release of their 2005 album Alligator, a runaway hit that allowed the members to quit their day jobs and hit the road. Releases Boxer (2007) and the aforementioned High Violet only solidified their popularity, and by the time Trouble Will Find Me was released, the band were accepting a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
Four of the band's albums were included on NME's 2013 list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, and the heavy-hitters continue to punch with precision; the latest release also topped the album chart in the UK and Canada for the first time, scooped a No 2 spot in the USA and coasted into a cool Top 4 spot in Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Finland.
You won't want to miss this ultra-meteoric band when they play Dublin once again to adoring crowds.
