From Arranmore Island to Malin’s Village Green, Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way is the magnificent backdrop for Earagail Arts Festival. Enjoy award-winning music, theatre, visual arts and more while making unforgettable memories for all the family.

Earagail Arts Festival is a bilingual (Irish and English language), multidisciplinary summer festival which takes place each July throughout County Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way on the north-west coast of Ireland.

From 10 to 28 July 2019 this iconic festival will be on the road from West to North Donegal and the Inishowen Peninsula, with a host of new productions from award-winning local and international artists.

Earagail Arts Festival brings inspiring performers to this captivating European frontier, showcases artists native to the area and provides opportunities for cultural exchange, in venues from purpose-built theatres and galleries, to village halls, forests and beaches, creating a unique cultural experience in the most unlikely of magical places.

The diverse programme reaches out across the county, from Arranmore Island, Letterkenny to Malin, so wherever you are staying you will be able to enjoy a feast of entertainment located in the heart of one of Ireland’s most outstanding areas of natural beauty, the hidden gem in the Irish crown.

Highlights during this year's Earagail Arts Festival include the Donegal International Folk & Roots Weekend (11th to 14th July) featuring stellar acts such as Joan As Police Woman, Moonlight Benjamin and Lankum; Mór Music & Arts Trail over two days (20th & 21st July) on the beautiful island of Árainn Mhór (Arranmore) off the coast of West Donegal; and the Wild Atlantic Weekend (27th & 28 July).
