Utterly unlike anyone else you have ever heard, you really mustn’t miss the utterly unique Jesca Hoop as she takes to the stage at the Workman’s Club.

Jesca Hoop is an experimental singer-songwriter who has always been a musician’s musician. Adored and mentored by the likes of Tom Waits, she has quietly worked up a reputation for creating perfectly idiosyncratic folktronica.

An artist that thrives on collaboration, Jesca’s recent album, Love Letter for Fire, released on cult grunge label Sub Pop, featured contributions from Wilco’s Glenn Kotche and Eyvind Kang.

Expect to hear a whole range of songs from Jesca’s musical history, which is built upon rock, indie, and electronica as much as it is the folk styles of her Mormon upbringing.

Utterly unlike anyone else you have ever heard, you really mustn’t miss the utterly unique Jesca Hoop as she takes to the stage at the Workman’s Club.
