If the current buzz is anything to go by, poetry is experiencing somewhat of a revival among young readers. Proving this point will be Sarah Howe and Nick Laird, as they head to the Mountains to Sea Book Festival to chat all about the rebirth of poetry in front of fellow literary aficionados.
Sarah Howe is one of the most respected names in British academia, and as a winner of the honoured TS Eliot prize, she has created a profile for herself as one of the most interesting voices in modern British poetry.
Sharing the stage with Sarah will be Nick Laird, from County Tyrone. A multi-award winner, The New Yorker described his most recent collection, Go Giants, in glowing terms.
Listen to these superstars of poetry speak about their careers and experiences at the dlr Lexicon Studio in Dún Laoghaire for a enlightening afternoon for arts and poetry lovers.
