Hear one of England's most compelling voices live in captivating concert.

The award-winning Beth Orton is an artist without match; a lyrical virtuoso in every sense of the word. Inventive, mystifying, and progressive, she has spent the better part of the last two decades crafting six full albums of ever-changing work, experimenting with genre and the textures and spaces within sound as she goes.

From her UK folk revival roots to the 90s dance scene, her musical acrobatics have earned her both a Mercury nomination for first album Trailer Park and a win at the Brit Awards for Best British Female Artist for Central Reservation.

As a solo artist she is pioneering and she has proven herself a formidable collaborator with the likes of Four Tet, Terry Callier, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Marr and Nick Cave.

Her latest release, Kidsticks, co-produced with Andrew Hung of experimental electronic noise band Fuck Buttons, has been critically acclaimed. See and hear it for yourself at Whelan's.
