The Natural History Museum, colloquially known as The Dead Zoo, is one of the city’s real treasures for adults and kids alike. Man’s fascination with the world of animals has never wavered, but the technique and artistry that goes into something like the Natural History Museum remains obscure.

Taxidermy: Creation and Conservation takes a look at how the Natural History Museum works on a day to day basis. You’ll get a chance to meet taxidermist Jazmine Miles-Long and conservator Lucie Mascord who will explain the intricate and amazing work that goes on in preserving the animals, from the giant elk to the tiniest birds.

This is a unique look behind the curtain at the fascinating world of the Dead Zoo.
