Bruckless House Gate Lodge is set in a peaceful setting amidst the private grounds of Bruckless House with access to Donegal Bay. Guests at the Gate Lodge are always welcome to call at Bruckless House with its informal gardens and cobbled yard.

This is the gate lodge to Bruckless House, an attractive 18th century Classical house, in County Donegal. Listed as a protected building, Bruckless House is set in 18 acres of parkland. Bruckless House borders Bruckless Harbour, with meadows, mature woodland and spacious informal award-winning gardens of the Robinsonian kind. Connemara Ponies are bred here and can be seen grazing in the parkland.

Open all year round, Bruckless House Gate Lodge is available to rent for self-catering holidays. The Gate Lodge comprises of a living room/kitchen with an open fireplace, a full sized bathroom and two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other two single beds. There is a TV provided and all rooms have electric storage heating. A free wireless internet connection is available at Bruckless House.

The Gate Lodge is surrounded by its own garden just off the main driveway to the house, which leads directly to the rocky shore of Bruckless Bay. Guests at the Gate Lodge are always welcome to call at Bruckless House with its informal gardens and cobbled yard where poultry wander between the Connemara Ponies.

From Bruckless House Gate Lodge the visitor can explore the many interesting and significant local archaeological sites or simply enjoy some of the most beautiful and unspoilt Atlantic Coastline. Sea and river fishing can be arranged: there are two golf courses within easy reach. Horse riding may also be arranged nearby and there are some excellent restaurants in the vicinity.
