The family-run Parkland Holiday Homes Development was established by the Heffernan family in 1992 and has won many awards since then in recognition of the consistently high standard of their luxury accommodation. This holiday home complex is situated just 800m from Killarney Town Centre and opposite Killarney's magnificent National Park, in County Kerry. Parkland makes a great holiday location as it is within easy access of all local amenities (golf, shops, restaurants, entertainment) while at the same time offering complete privacy and relaxation to guests in a peaceful location.
Located just a short walk from Killarney Town Centre, Parkland Holiday Homes has a total of 18 modern self-catering properties. Each two-storey home has been built and decorated to the highest standard and can accommodate six guests. Two of these elegant houses have been adapted for the convenience of guests with wheelchairs. Each home features a spacious and comfortable sitting room with digital TV and direct dial international telephone; a modern tiled kitchen/dining area with fully equipped kitchen; three large superbly decorated bedrooms; a private patio and enclosed garden. Bed linen and towels are provided. On-site facilities include a reception and a children's play area.
In and around Killarney are a whole plethora of venues for the holidaymaker including Pet Farms and Wildlife parks for the family, Ireland's only golf club with three unique courses and the world famous Muckross House and Gardens. Alternatively, enjoy a boat trip on the Lakes of Killarney set amongst the mountains of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, pony trek through the National Park or simply enjoy the walking in some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery.
