Dublin International Youth Hostel is an award-winning accommodation situated in Dublin City centre, just five minutes from the shops of Henry Street and 15 minutes from the lively Temple Bar neighbourhood.

Dublin International was shortlisted in the top 5 as ‘Favourite Irish Hostel’, as voted for by readers of TNT Magazine!

Dublin International Youth Hostel is a great choice for budget travellers visiting Dublin City. This Dublin Hostel actually used to be a convent and was converted into a Youth Hostel with just under 300 beds but it still has “The Church” as our restaurant – complete with stained-glass windows and confession boxes!
The hostel offers a variety of standard, ensuite and dormitory rooms. Rates include continental breakfast, while groups may request packed lunches and dinner. The clean, comfortable property has a self-catering kitchen, laundry facilities, outdoor garden, conference room, Wi-Fi Internet access, complimentary car parking and more, to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.

Our chef in the Church Restaurant makes home-cooked meals for groups of 10 or more- just be sure to pre-book! The hostel is especially well-suited for youth groups, schools and students and we also have a number of family rooms available. All our guests are given a warm and friendly international welcome and our international staff can help you with any questions about Dublin and Ireland in most languages too.
The hostel is also the recipient of the HI-Quality Award, given out to hostels completing the long-term HI Quality Management System.

Dublin International Youth Hostel is situated in Dublin City centre and near many major attractions, such as Croke Park, Henry Street, the Dublin Writers Museum. Temple Bar, home to a multitude of restaurants, Cafés and pubs, is just a 15-minute walk from the hostel.
