Clew Bay Hotel is situated in the centre of Westport, a charming heritage town surrounded by beautiful landscapes. This family-run hotel offers all guests a warm welcome in comfortable three-star accommodation.

The Clew Bay Hotel is a family owned and managed hotel, which offers a genuine warm welcome, in the heart of Westport town.

Traditionally a favourite among sea anglers and the original site of the first Fish and Chip shop in town; today, the family have developed the business into a modern and stylish hotel. We still serve the original fish and chips recipe, in Madden’s Bistro.

All bedrooms are individually decorated and designed with comfort and convenience in mind. In their rooms, guests will find hair dryer, direct dial telephone, TV and tea and coffee facilities. WiFi access is available in most bedrooms.

The hotel is home to Madden’s Bistro and Bar, which is a classy, bustling establishment popular among tourists and locals alike. The bistro serves sumptuous Irish dishes such as traditional roast dinners and seafood as well as a range of European dishes. Madden's Bar is a contemporary space where people can enjoy cocktails, traditional music and sporting events shown on 2 large screen plasma TVs. Breakfast is served in the Riverside Restaurant overlooking the beautiful Carrowbeg River, which flows directly behind the hotel.

The Clew Bay Hotel is also home to the Clew Bay Art Gallery which hosts temporary exhibitions for local artists.

Guests can also enjoy complementary access to Westport Leisure Park, located adjacent to the hotel, which features a 25 metre swimming pool, sauna and stream room.

Also on the premises, guests will find The Natural Therapy centre, where they can indulge in a variety of treatments, such as aromatherapy, holistic massages, reflexology and reiki.

Westport is a charming town surrounded by beautiful scenery that ranges from beaches to mountains. Popular local activities include golfing, walking, cycling, coasteering, rock climbing, zip-wire, snorkelling, fishing and other water sports. The town is a perfect base for anyone wishing to explore the majestic Croagh Patrick, Westport House and the Pirate Adventure Park.
