The hostel is also an excellent resource for arts and craft activities. With a professional potter in residence, Downhill Hostel is very involved with the local arts community, hosting workshops and exhibitions and sponsoring artist residencies. Downhill Hostel is open all year and may also be rented for sole use for private parties, family reunions, small conferences, and retreats. Catering can be arranged for groups by request.
