The hostel was originally a hunting lodge designed by the famous English architect Sir Edwin Lutwens. Today, it can accommodate up to 26 people in its four, six and ten bedrooms. Guests can also make use of the self-catering facilities.
Downings is a great base for visiting Tory Island and the area’s beaches. The region is also wonderful for walking, swimming, fishing and cycling.
