Kilcommon Lodge is situated by the sea and on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is an ideal base for a few days immersed in nature and tranquility. The Lodge is sited in a peaceful valley, surrounded by mature gardens. It is generously laid out, so guests will find plenty of space inside and out to relax, play, read, barbecue, chat, and enjoy the stunning views.
The building dates back 200 years and can accommodate and cater for up to 25 people at any time during the year. Guests can choose from private, family, and dormitory rooms, and can also enjoy home-cooked food made from local ingredients. There is a self-catering kitchen, peat fire, Internet access, laundry facilities, car parking, and surfboard rental. Surf instruction, trips to Inishkea Islands, and guided fishing trips can all be arranged.
The Lodge can also be booked for retreats, courses, family reunions, and fieldtrips. Ceide Fields, Ballycroy National Park, and marked loop walks along the cliffs are all in easy reach.
