Gertie and Pat Ormond, the former owners of Ormond's Restaurant in Dungarvan, take great pride in welcoming people into their home. Guests can experience real country living in this lovely old farmhouse with stable yards and 11 acres of horses grazing and hens foraging.
Guests can walk in the relaxing garden and cobblestone yard overlooked by the beautiful Knockmealdown Mountains. In the morning it is a real treat to join Gertie in the kitchen for some early morning baking of soda bread and scones. Gertie is a former student of chefs Darina Allen, Jane Grigson, Antony Worrall Thompson, John Tovey and Madhur Jaffrey.
