Greese View House is a family-run business with a relaxed atmosphere. There are spacious gardens and a patio area for guests to relax and unwind. Situated just off national route N9, it makes an ideal base for touring through the region. There are coffee and tea-making facilities available in all rooms. There are numerous restaurants and golf courses in the area. Fishing is available from the River Greese and there is course fishing available from the River Barrow.

Greese View House stands on what was once part of an estate owned by the Earls of Aldborough. The avenue down to the estate of the Earls of Aldborough is entered through the pillars in Moone village. Part of the courtyard still stands, and there are three monuments, the Eagle, the Obliga and the Pinnacle which were used as markers for a point-to-point race.

The High Cross of Moone is situated near by and there is also an old christening well, covered by a dome, that was used to baptise infants in previous centuries.
