The award winning old coach house has a riverside location built in 1840, it was formerly an overnight stop for stage coaches on the old Dublin/Wexford road. All bedrooms ensuite most with magnificent views of the Avoca river and valley. The dining room provides seasonal menus all prepared and home cooked on the premises. The house is furnished traditionally with a relaxing atmosphere and open fires.

The Old Coach House is situated only a short distance from the Vale of Avoca, where Thomas Moore was inspired by the beauty of the area and wrote “ The Meeting of the Waters". The Meeting of the Waters is where the Avonmore and Avonbeg rivers come together to form the river Avoca. Wicklow is known a the garden of Ireland and is a walkers' paradise, surrounded by wild mountains and dramatic valleys, so much to explore.
