Rockfield House is located near Connemara. Situated 3 kilometres west of Moycullen. Guests can visit Brigid’s Garden. It is conveniently situated for visiting Connemara, the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. Fishermen have choice of two lakes.
Run by the Griffin family for four generations, Rockfield house B&B is located on a family farm in Moycullen, County Galway. The cozy accommodation consists of a lounge with an open fireplace and three ensuite guestrooms.
While Rockfield House B&B is only fifteen minutes away from the bohemian charm of Galway City, it also enjoys a rural setting which assures a relaxing holiday. Lakes and hills surround Moycullen, with a backdrop of Newtown Hill, giving inspirations for artists, photographers, and walkers. The 44,000-acre Lough Corrib borders the area to the east. Renowned trout fishing at the lake is only a ten-minute drive from Rockfield House. Guests also have the choice of coarse fishing at Ross Lake. There are a number of signposted walks convenient to Rockfield House. Horse riding is also popular in the area, with riding lessons and pony trekking available just a ten-minute drive from Rockfield House.
