Offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and nearby Baltimore Bay, Channel View B&B, located just outside the village of Baltimore in County Cork, allows visitors convenient access to the area’s many remarkable sites and attractions.

A céad míle fáilte awaits visitors to Channel View B&B, a charming country home set amid stunningly verdant landscapes just outside the village of Baltimore in County Cork. Offering incredible views of nearby Baltimore Bay, this B&B features pleasantly spacious ensuite guestrooms with TV, WiFi Internet and hairdryer. A private car park, mature, landscaped gardens and tea and/or coffee making facilities are available for guest use. A warm and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed.

Channel View B&B is a short walk from the charming seaport village of Baltimore, which boasts a veritable bevy of traditional Irish pubs and restaurants, and serves as an ideal base for touring West Cork. Visitors can pass the time perusing the local wares at the Baltimore Market, or spend the day exploring the coastal sites on a Baltimore Sea Safari boat tour. As the main ferry port to Sherkin Island, Cape Clear Island and the eastern side of Roaring Water Bay and Carbery’s Hundred Isles, Baltimore offers guests prime access to some of the most unspoilt and striking coastal scenery in Europe.

In addition, as one of Ireland’s top deep sea angling centres, Baltimore is a perfect destination for anglers. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls around the property while taking in such sites as Lough Ine and the Baltimore Beacon, or spend time scuba diving and/or sailing in the bay, which is noted for the impressive number and variety of shipwrecks, including a World War 2 submarine and the bulk carrier Kowloon Bridge, lying beneath its surface.

Visitors to Channel View B&B can also take day trips to nearby Mizen Head, the most south westerly point in Ireland, or the striking Beara Peninsula.
