As the main ferry port to Sherkin Island, Cape Clear Island and the eastern side of Roaring Water Bay and Carbery’s Hundred Isles, Baltimore offers guests prime access to some of the most unspoilt and striking coastal scenery in Europe.
In addition, as one of Ireland’s top deep sea angling centres, Baltimore is a perfect destination for anglers. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls around the property while taking in such sites as Lough Ine and the Baltimore Beacon, or spend time scuba diving and/or sailing in the bay, which is noted for the impressive number and variety of shipwrecks, including a World War 2 submarine and the bulk carrier Kowloon Bridge, lying beneath its surface.
Visitors to Channel View B&B can also take day trips to nearby Mizen Head, the most south westerly point in Ireland, or the striking Beara Peninsula.
