Our 100 acre farm, much of it limestone pavements, has been designated as a special area of conservation. It is a botanist's and geologist's delight where Arctic and Alpine flowers grow side by side. From May onwards these exotic flora can be seen to best advantage.
Our guest rooms are tastefully furnished with tea and coffee making facilities, tv and free wifi. Both dining room and sitting room overlook a colourful garden.
Our base is ideal for walking or cycling the Burren. There is a variety of walking trails and loop walks. The Wood Loop trail runs through the farm to Ailwee Cave. Information is available to assist with guided and non guided walks.
Our house is within easy reach of Poulnabrone Dolmen - which attracts thousands of visitors every year. Nearby is Caherconnell stone fort and Interpretive centre. We are a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin Village where there is a daily ferry service to the Aran Islands. The village itself with its thatched cottages and beautiful sea views has an enduring appeal. It is well-served with pubs and restaurants and traditional music is available during the summer months.
