On the last night of the Summer Series, one of Ireland’s most beloved singers, Imelda May, will perform.

Trinity College throws open its gates to the public for the Summer Series, a week of concerts hosted in College Park this July.

On the last night of the Summer Series, one of Ireland’s most beloved singers, Imelda May, will perform.

Originally from The Liberties, May’s key influences in her earlier career were classic rock’n’roll like Buddy Holly and Gene Vincent, as well as old school rockabilly and jazz vocalists.

Since her 2008 album, Love Tattoo, May has established herself as a performer and songwriter of real quality and charm, winning fans all around the world, and even singing the national anthem for Conor McGregor when he took on Floyd Mayweather.

This will be a slightly less unusual setting, although still a special one, as Imelda May rocks the old walls of Trinity College to bring the Summer Series to a close.
