Spleodar Halloween Arts Festival, 6 days of workshops, performances, parade & fireworks in Nenagh Co Tipperary. Festival fun for all the family this Halloween.

Spleodar (Irish meaning outburst of energy) started as a one-day festival in Nenagh in 2000. A family - focused Arts Festival taking place over the Halloween mid-term break with a full 6 days of events. It presents public spectacle, arts and cultural events that aim to bring light and noise to the streets and venues in the town.

Spleodar has developed a loyal, growing and ambitious audience and positioned itself in the mid-west region as an event focused on quality programming from early years to young adult audiences and one of 7 festivals dedicated to programming events for children and young people in Ireland.

Over the 6 days you can try your hand at one of the many workshops including mythical clay creatures & mask making. Or take a trip on the spooky ghost tour with twisted tales that will tickle and terrify you in equal measure. Join Chief Mummer as he leads the parade through the streets of Nenagh and tells the tale of the Puca and the Piper. Finally finish off the festival at the annual Fireworks, a stunning spectacle of explosive colour.
