Go back in time to the days of kings, queens, knights, ladies, jesters and minstrels at this fascinating venue, soak up the atmosphere of a very special night feasting on delicious medieval style dishes prepared with great care by Chef Gerard Dunne and his team from Butler House Kilkenny, using only the very best of local ingredients.
During this very special evening you will meet Sir William Marshal and Dame Alice Kyteler who will entertain you with fascinating stories, songs and music, while you will be sipping on the finest honey mead celebrating an era of great Irish taste with excellent food and fine wine.
This festive pageantry features a four course meal, mead, white wine and entertainment.

Honey, pale ale and wine mead.
Ballinwillin wild boar and fowl terrine, crusty loaf, forager’s salad, medieval sauce.
Squab broth, ancient grains, cabbage, leeks and wild herbs.
Rustic dry-aged steak and ale brew, root vegetables, potatoes and barley served in homemade cob.
Tudor pots of toasted rolled oats, honey, wild hedge berries and Irish whiskey cream.
