The Bandon River rises in the mountains north-west of Dunmanway, and reaches the sea at the estuary near Kinsale, County Cork. The river provides good fishing for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout.
The River Bandon rises in the Shehy Mountains in West Cork and flows through Dunmanway, Enniskeane, Bandon and Inishannon, to Kinsale Harbour. This is primarily a salmon and sea trout river, but there are also brown trout in the lower reaches.
