County Cavan Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in Ireland. Founded in 1894, many of its fairways are lined with mature trees which present a continuous challenge, especially between holes 14-18.
One of the Ireland's most mature parkland courses, County Cavan Golf Club is situated only 90 minutes from Dublin or Belfast.
It provides a unique golfing experience in the heart of the lakeland region. The spectacular course is carved through the natural Drumlin terrain of Cavan. Many of the fairways are lined with mature trees, in particular, the last four holes, with water coming into play on the 15th hole – the most challenging on the course. This is sure to present you with an exciting and unforgettable experience.
The stately clubhouse provides a spectacular view of the 18th hole and fairway, which adds to the excitement right up to the last putt.
County Cavan Golf Club is renowned for its hospitality and warm welcome for all members, visitors, societies and guests. Breakfast and dinner is available on request, and there is a bar menu for lunch.
