The Colonel's Lodge is a converted grain store, situated in the picturesque Holywood Hills, with its own private garden. It has a spacious open plan kitchen/living room, a sitting room, a single bedroom and a separate bathroom downstairs as well as a cosy double bedroom under the rafters in an upstairs open gallery.
The kitchen has a fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher and an oil fired range which does the cooking and heating. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, drying rack and second fridge. Here you will also find ample secure storage for bicycles, golf clubs and fishing gear. The Lodge has a television and a DVD player in the sitting room, as well as televisions in each of the bedrooms. There is also a radio and free WIFI.
The private garden is made up of a small lawn and paved area and there is also an outdoor clothes line.
The Colonel's Lodge is perfect for a couple with one child or a single working person. Pre-arranged pets are welcome but children and animals must be supervised at all times as the property is on a working farm. Recommended age of children is 12+.
We are 15 minutes from Belfast City Centre, George Best City Airport and the Titanic Centre, 20 minutes from Belfast Ferries and 10 minutes from Holywood, Bangor, Dundonald and Newtownards.
Mount Stewart House and Gardens are a 20 minute drive away and The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum is just 5 minutes down the road.
