Homeleigh is nestled in the beautiful Geln of Aherlow, Co Tipperary. There is walking and mountain climbs, pony and horse trekking near by, excellent golf, fishing and good food. Perfect base for touring Rock of Cashel, Mitchelstown Caves etc.

Since 1987 the Frewen Family have welcomed guests to our attractive comfortable farmhouse. Situated in the beautiful stunning scenery in the Glen of Aherlow County Tipperary. This heavenly valley nestled between the Galty mountains and Slieve Namuck. The Glen of Aherlow offers a feast of walking - 8 looped walks on Slievnamuch, mountain trails to 5 corrie lakes and the Big Challenge - Galtymore at 1000metres.
If you like horses, trekking & trains available nearby for the beginer and accomplished rider through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland will give you hours of pleasure. Your host John is a keen Golfer and a member of G.U.I and will organise your game for you. there are five 18-hole golf courses within 15kms The nearest 5 km away. Tuition can also be arranged with the Pros. Homeleigh Farmhouse is an ideal base for touring with the Rock of Cashel, Bru Boru Heritage Centre, Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage and Mitchelstown Caves all within a 20km radius.
Salmon fishing on the River Suir (15km). Permit can be purchased in Cahir. Tipperary town is a market town with shopping, sports complex (25 metre pool) genealogy in Excellent Centre, Cinema, Theatre, Pubs and Music Session. Irish music performed by Family.
