The Breeders last visit to scuppered to Ireland was scheduled for last October, but Storm Ophelia scuppered those plans. Instead the band will now visit Vicar Street this May on the back of their new album All Nerve.

The Breeders were formed by Pixies bassist Kim Deal during downtime in that band’s schedule in 1989 and have – with a couple of breaks here and there for a variety of reasons – remained one of the great American indie rock bands since.

The band’s last visit to Ireland was scheduled for October 2017, but Storm Ophelia scuppered those plans. Instead the band will now visit Vicar Street this May on the back of their new album All Nerve.

All Nerve is the first album by The Breeders to have been made by what many consider to the the classic lineup, that is, the one that made their 1993 classic Last Splash with Kim and Kelly Deal, Jim MacPherson on drums, and Josephine Wiggs.

In the midst of a late career renaissance, there’s never been a better time to see The Breeders in concert.
