The Belfast punk rock band have a new album in the works, which means more of the signature high intensity live shows you've come to know and love.

Belfast punk rockers Stiff Little Fingers have been playing high intensity punk rock music alongside the likes of The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Sham 69 and Stranglers since they first formed in 1977 at the height of the socially and politically-charged Troubles.

As one of Northern Ireland's most recognisable rock bands, they quickly cemented their reputation at the forefront of the then-budding punk movement, writing and recording influential albums, the most popular of which was arguably their debut, Inflammable Material. Known for their confessional lyrics, unwavering politics and infectiously energetic performances, they remain one of the genre's most-love bands.

Over the years, their live shows, regarded as special events, have attracted die-hard fans and new listeners alike, and now, with a new album in the works for 2018, there's every reason to get out to The Academy to see them for yourself.
