One of Ireland's longest running Food Festivals, The Kinsale Gourmet Festival now in its 43rd year, is back this October, with a fun and food filled weekend in Ireland's No 1 Foodie Town.

Kinsale's 43rd Gourmet Festival commences on Friday October 11th with a Champagne and Canape Reception in the Blue Haven, followed by a dine around in a Good Food Circle Restaurant of your choice, with each restaurant featuring a Taste of West Cork Menu for the evening. For those who wish to dance off the first night's indulgence, the formidable Sharon Crosbie and band play back at the Blue Haven to kick start the weekend on the right note. Participating restaurants include Fishy Fishy, Finns Table, Man Friday, The Blue Haven, The Trident, Jim Edwards, The White House, The Supper Club, Actons Hotel, The White Lady and The Bulman.

Saturday is the Mad Hatters Taste of Kinsale which begins at Actons Hotel with a Sparkling Reception followed by what is the highlight of Kinsale's Culinary Year, with a Food, Wine and Gin trail around Kinsale, featuring the members of the Good Food Circle in four different venues along with guest suppliers, producers and chefs from our sister city in Newport, Rhode Island. A real culinary afternoon feast with a fun and party like atmosphere around Ireland's Seaside Foodie Town.

Sunday is a seafood lovers dream with the Fruit de Mer Spectacular at Actons Hotel. This is the Piece de Resistance of the weekend where the chefs from all the Good Food Circle Restaurants join forces to create a seafood lunch and afternoon of fine food and wines, along with music by the incredible Pat Fitz Band at 6pm.
