A plantation bawn built in 1611 by Sir Richard Wingfield
A plantation bawn built in 1611 by Sir Richard Wingfield, located in the grounds of the Servite Priory. The bawn encloses an irregular area, with walls standing almost to full height.
The rectangular towers located in the north-east and north-west corners are more like large houses than defensive flankers.
The north-west tower has been re-roofed and restored.
