36-38 Westland Row, Dublin,
Enjoy this day of events focussed on the work of female composers, performers and teachers.
Saluting the Feminists is the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s day-long celebration of women composers, performers and teachers. This March, it returns once again with an opera performance by a leading female composer; don't miss Judith Weir's Scipio's Dream. A feature event, it will act as a major highlight to the legacies and contributions of the Academy's key women.
The day will also include a diverse series of fringe events, concerts, talks and panels highlighting the extraordinary impact women have had and continue to have on Irish musical life.
It's not to be missed.
