Visa, Passport and Embassy Information

You'll need to check Ireland's visa and passport requirements before you begin your visit

Visa Passport

Of course we’ll say céad míle fáilte (one hundred thousand welcomes in Gaelic) when you arrive in Ireland. But just after that, we’ll ask you for your passport. There are different requirements for different nationalities so here’s what you need to know when visiting Ireland from GCC countries.

Firstly, to enter the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland, you need a valid passport.

Visas

UAE Nationals do not require a visa to travel to the Republic of Ireland. All other GCC Nationals require a visa to visit the Republic of Ireland. All GCC nationals require a UK visa to enter Northern Ireland.

For information on the following questions and visa requirements for all other nationalities, see below:

Republic of Ireland Visa Procedures

UAE Nationals do not require a visa to travel to the Republic of Ireland. All other GCC Nationals require a visa to visit the Republic of Ireland. An online visa application facility for Ireland is available to GCC national visitors. You can apply online in the visa section of www.visas.inis.gov.ie. Once this is completed you must then submit your documentation to the relevant Irish Embassy, visa office or Consulate.
