Deer Park Golf Grading System
Green – Novice: As a new entrant to the game of golf we would recommend participation in one of our ‘6 week Introduction to Golf’ Group Classes which provide an overview of how to play, which clubs to use for which shots and a dictionary for all of the new terms that you may hear on a Golf Course. Classes will normally be held on our Short Course, a 12-hole course which has a target of 3 shots per hole.
Blue – Competent: Develop control and maintain concentration through an added 6 holes in our 18-hole Pitch & Putt course. Knowledge of short game and putting is recommended.
Red – Adept: In the St Fintan’s 9-hole course you will practice longer shots and develop your strategic thinking with the added consideration of which clubs to play at different holes.
Black – Proficient: Practice your personal best on our flagship Deer Park 18-hole golf course.
