The witches and wizards will descend on the National Trusts Springhill House, Moneymore at 11am on Sunday 27 October and will stay until 4pm on Thursday 31 October.
Over 5s and their families can enter the house for a spooky tour in the presence of Olivia, Springhill’s resident ghost.
Little spooks under 5 can enter the house via the old tearoom and make their way through the basement following spooky rhymes along the way.
On exiting the house, kids should make their way around to the Witches and Wizards School, where they will be versed in all things ‘Broomstick Health and Safety’, before being let loose on the lawn to demonstrate their flying skills.
Kids can search the trails for ingredients to bring to the Woody Witch in her crooked woodland den. But beware, watch out for the huge spider and don’t get stuck in its web! Just one ingredient will do, and kids can get tips on what to look for from the friendly witches in Visitor Reception.
The Barn Cafe will be open throughout half-term, serving freshly baked treats alongside Halloween horror bakes, bone-warming seasonal lunches and hearty soups. Visitors can enjoy a pumpkin spiced latte, whilst relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere.
Normal Admission. National Trust Members and under 5s go free.
