Garranes Lake is located in Drimoleague, County Cork. A large stock of small native brown trout is present and large rainbow trout are regularly stocked to maintain a high stock density and give good angling results.
The water at Garranes Lake is regularly stocked with rainbow trout with good catches being taken from it. There is also a large stock of brown trout and fishing is between 1st May and 31st August. Methods used are fly and spin.
