Taking place 15-17 May at its new home in Balmoral Park, the 145th Balmoral Show offers its usual extravaganza of colour, competition and showmanship along with daily displays of pedigree horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, poultry, pigs and goats. Hundreds of trade stands offer visitors everything from organic foods to 4x4 vehicles.
Around the showgrounds there will be lots happening, including Falconry, Sheep Shearing Competitions, Balmoral Food Village, Children's Farm, Equestrian Stunt Team, Show Stage, Craft Village and much more. There's also a dedicated Kids Zone, with a children's farm, an egg hatchery, bungee trampoline, climbing wall and kid's rides.

Shuttle Bus:
Between 8.30am and 9pm every day, Translink will operate a free shuttle bus service from Lisburn Train Station to the new Show grounds. While the estimated outward journey time is around 20-30 minutes, passengers are advised to leave at least one hour transfer time to return from the show back to Lisburn for onward train connections - especially anyone using cross-border or North West services. Routes to the Show:
Visitors travelling from the West should take the M1 and leave the motorway at Junction 9 (Moira), where they will be directed to travel along the A3 Moira Road towards Lisburn and access the show via the Halftown Road.
Traffic from the North West should travel down the A26 and along the A3 Moira Road towards Lisburn, again accessing the show via Halftown Road, similar to western traffic.
Lisburn traffic should take the Moira Road out of Lisburn and access the show via the Halftown Road.
Those travelling from Belfast and the North East should travel south on the M1, leaving the motorway at the junction 7 (Sprucefield), follow directional signage to the A1 Lisburn and accessing the show via the Blaris Road.
Traffic from the South should use the A1 dual carriageway and access the show via Harrys Road which is the first left turn after the Hillsborough Roundabout.
Extensive direction signing will be in place close to the show entrances. Please follow these and the directions of the PSNI.
