The city's newly restored Guildhall wll re-open its doors in June 2013 with an Ulster Plantation exhibition, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the building of the city walls.
Featuring original archives and museum objects from the national institutions relating to the development of the city during the 17th Century, the exhibition will look at the planning and implementation of the plantation, the links with the city of London, the legacy, and the effects on today's society. Visitors will have the opportunities to interact with digital technology, view archives, while learning more about a period of history that goes to the hearts of our divided histories.
